Looking back over the week!!

Fun with Shapes
On Monday, the children in the Rainbow Rooms rose to the shape challenge. They were very busy making squares, circles, triangles and rectangles using their lego, markers, cars, books and lots of other things they found in their homes. Well done everyone. Then, if that was not enough they made some fantastic Shape Robots. You are terrific everyone!Obstacle Course
On Tuesday, we did our obstacle course. This was changed from Friday because of the weather forecast for this week. It was a lovely day to get out and be active in our gardens. This was also a great way for us all to celebrate Active Week with our families, just like Stickman is keeping active with his family. 😁😁😁 The children really used their imaginations and they came up with wonderful ideas for their own obstacle courses. This was a great way for the children to work on their gross motor skills.
Baking Chocolate Chip Cookies
On Wednesday, it was baking day. There were lots of cookie monsters by the end of this activity.Even Teacher Colin gave them a go!!
And then ....if that was not enough excitement for one day.........there was a surprise coming........
what would be coming in the post?????..............the children had to wait to find out......
Thursday - Art making our Bees

We always love to see your pictures, so even if you are a bit late posting them, don't be afraid to put them up. We understand it is sometimes hard to get the challenges done everyday as they are put up. So, needless to say it is amazing to see how the children in the Rainbow Rooms continue to do great things over the weekend.Final thought for the Bank Holiday Weekend!!
We all know that it is challenging for everyone, parents and children included, during this time. Just remember to stay happy and safe and know that .....
